And to complete the SciTE part of the thread (at least), here is a Windows installer for SciTE: http://luaforge.net/frs/download.php/3358/scite.msi Shortcut on desktop, and puts an 'Open with SciTE' on the Explorer context menu. The relevance here is that this includes the scite-debug extensions, so it can be used to debug Lua. steve d.
