Yes but note that in the second article (written 1 year later),
they've commited to implementing 3 of the most useful C99 features, a
C11-conforming pre-processor and also clarified below that these
features will be available in the C compiler. I don't use MSVC, so I'm
not sure if they've lived up to the promise yet, but it certainly
seems like a change of tune from the previous year.
