I'm new to Lua. I found out today that a:b(1, 2, 3) is short-hand for
a.b(a, 1, 2, 3), makes sense to me. Should we just move on now?
But I must mention, I do know C and know that a[b] is *(a+b), so maybe
that makes me an expert?
