Great! I haven't got much time to work on LuaJava lately. I was going to release a new version to include Lua 5.1.4 and fix some problems with JavaFunctions and error handling. 

I was also trying to figure out a way of renaming the shared library on a platform-basis.

Please, feel free to send in patches.
