Yes, the point is that Hisham has very little time (his PhD supervisor is on this list ;)) and the project can use some good help. Thijs has taken over the task of making LR work better on Windows (which is always a challenging platform) and he would appreciate some testing as well.
Before the 'luarocks install luarocks' can happen, there are some delicate issues to how to cooperate with the OS package manager.
