All the functions are completely documented in the GSL Shell user
manual and a lot of demos are also available from the interactive
command line. A debian package is available and a windows binary
should be released in a few days.
The Downloads page still offers only
GSL Shell 2.0.0 gsl-shell-2.0.0-1_i386.deb
Making local docs involves installing python-sphinx, moving `conf.py` out of the way, running `sphinx-quickstart` and then `make html`. Not hard, but maybe worth a mention somewhere.
I've aliased `matlab` to `gsl-shell` ...
