Your english is fine, even pretty good, actually, but there's a lot of gratuitous self-deprecation in your post. If there is one thing that you should improve, it is your self esteem.
Your project looks interesting, and it is always nice to share code. You could think of it as a Lua NoSQL pendant to SQLite. I haven't read the source thoroughly, but from what I've seen, you are meticulous and you put a lot of effort to make it clean and readable. Very nice. I may have written a few things differently, but it is mostly a matter of taste.
Side note: the SSL certificate of your site is for another domain, which causes Chrome to display a big red scary page when you try to reach it...
Fossil is cool i itself, but if you want to maximize your chances of getting patches, you may want to put it on GitHub. You'll also get a bug tracker and a Wiki for free.
