There's two "Orbit"s too, a CORBA broker, and the lua Orbit framework.
For disambiguation, I think lua-opal will work, when referring to it.

I love the name "Opal", it is still close to my "secret" purpose for the name (seen the README.txt?)
So what do you think about this name people?
Don't think it matters much at all, but there's a PL called Opal (http://uebb.cs.tu-berlin.de/~opal/
). The difference to your project is large enough for theree not to be much confusion I'd think.
