I tried Renoice in version 1.9. The UI has surely changed now :)

Does this mean Renoice is targeting to be a code controled dynamic
sound generator?

We are pleased with Lua in general. We appreciate that it is lightweight, fast, and portable. We were able to integrate and extend Lua thanks to a healthy developer ecosystem. Kudos!

For experienced users, and those who don't necessarily want to be bound to piano roll systems to music, it offers a refreshing approach to composing and is one of the most efficient ways to do so using a computer.
