Tutorials (or others ressources) targeting real beginners are really uncommon.

I know:
1) Arduino where C++ (in fact, a small part of C++) is explained

2) RaspberryPi promotes 2 languages Python & Scratch

and https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/usage/scratch/

Both are project (hardware here) specific and the effort doesn't come
from seasoned programmers.
Both projects (Arduino & Raspberry Pi) were created for education purpose.
