Hmm so what about always offering patch files? I think it would be of
help, since I suppose most people would rather not wait for a minor
release in an uncertain amount of time with the bugs so publicly
announced. The patches are there of course, but it's just a bit of a
hassle to copy them all out (not undoable or a huge problem, just
unnecessarily lengthy).
