Really I think that you should look into how much resources Xavante takes and then go with Orbit and Xavante as the web server. I can tell you what Xavante uses on a normal PC, not an embedded device. I do have a Rasberry Pi, but again it has 512MB of RAM and it can run Apache. Good luck.

http://luci.subsignal.org/trac - looks like MVC, thought may not be a framework per se.

If I am not mistaken then OpenWRT project's LuCI is the web GUI and I believe uses Lua. No first hand experience with it, but I remember reading about it somewhere. Might be a thing to check out, though no idea if it can be seen as a MVC framework, or based on one. I think their choice was made after much thought and debate, given that more OpenWRT devices (routers usually) are pretty resource constrained.

Hello,

I want to ask somewhat arguable question.

There are many MVC frameworks.
Among those I'd like to know how people think of them for embedded systems - physical memory is only about 32MB, disk space allowed is only 12 MB.

For this, I tested Orbiter - written by Steve Donovan. And it works fine but it doesn't support "file upload".
So I am looking for others.
There are Orbit and Lapis in my eyes.

What is your opinion about Orbit/Lapis/ and other MVC frameworks for embedded devices?

I'd like to avoid to select one that people don't use any more.

Sincerely
