I'm subscribed to over half a dozen Usenet newsgroups. At one point the spam
from Google Groups users--bots, actually--was so intolerable that I had to
blacklist any post from Google Groups.
But if spam is less of a problem on regular Google Groups, I guess there's
nothing wrong with it, as third party services go.
