Thank you, with this correction I got a much, much nicer fit:

And the actual release date formula is corrected to:
1997.2+18.4^(Ir-8,95)+(Ir-7)/1.7

Its simpler too needing only a linear and potential part, and it gives
Roberto&Luiz more time for 5.2, which will now be May 8th 2012.
Additionally it will move the last release to 2041. (Since 2075 we wont make)
