Lua 5.2 has a greatly increased constant limit.
[This required a VM change, so it's not entirely trivial (i.e., it's not
just changing a constant somewhere).]
I've seen some people on this list talk about back-porting this change
to Lua 5.1, but I'm not sure if anybody's done it.
