Ditto; I find it interesting that its very conventional syntax causes

That is cute, I'll agree.
Well, Lua could become a hot implementation language, as LuaJIT
continues to improve..
Another theme in that discussion was 'we need an official standard
library',[1] which is definitely another lua-l meme.
