So I'm a little confused, whether this license covers only the PostScript
source code, or the design of the logo.
The page http://www.lua.org/images/ and the PS programs have been changed to
reflect our view on their licenses. We hope it's clearer now: In summary, the
PS code is in the public domain. The graphic design of the logo is protected.
Funny set of sentences there, was it run past a lawyer?
It is called "public domain" but:
(a) the web page has a copyright box, and
(b) the source code has similar but not exactly the same
sentences, but with no "Copyright..." label
Is it a design mark? A registered trade mark? Is copyright
appropriate for a logo design? That was not what I was taught...
Well, if it's called public domain and has a copyright label with
some restrictions, then there may be a paradox and the universe
might get destroyed. Be careful...
A Windows icon of the logo is also in the package of Lua-5.1.4 in the
directory etc/.
This is a left-over from old releases and no longer needed.
It has been removed in 5.2.
