You mean you can't use precompiled Lua modules? I think you'd be out of luck for interfacing with MySQL in that case.

Subject: MySQL in LUA
Hi all!
I need to know if there is a library in '.lua' file for using mysql. I have
the '.dll' library, but i need a .lua one because the system where i need to
use it doesn't let me to use the '.dll' one.
Thanks!
