Funny, I was about to make the exact same remark.
The kid wanting to improve his WoW scripting knowledge might not want to pay for a book, so the fact he gets it illegally won't really hurt the sales of Roberto.

That's why I always smile when I see Word or Photoshop editors stating they loose millions due to piracy. Given the price tag of these softwares, I doubt they will sell that much even if they were totally impossible to copy.

I don't condone piracy, but I think its impact is exaggerated.
Now, there are free alternatives to the above softwares, while Roberto's book is unique. And some companies that can afford such softwares have been found to use pirated softwares helping them to make their business, so I suppose there are dishonest people everywhere.
