I happen to agree. I think the community is strong enough to
withstand this, and prefer that we are able to have the quick and
rapid responses that we've grown accustomed to. Moderated lists end
up being much more work on the moderators, and posts tend to be
approved in "batches", which has a bad time-shifting effect on the
list.
