Lua on Infineon C166/167 microcontrollers

I am trying to port Lua onto the Infineon C166 range of sixteen-bit
microcontrollers (http://www.infineon.com/). Our systems use the Keil
tool chain (http://www.keil.com/) and the CMX RTOS and TCP/IP stack
(http://www.cmx.com/). We have written our own filing system, which is
accessed using a cut-down version of the standard stdio.h interface,
using MMC or SD memory cards.

Any comments or advice on using Lua on embedded microcontrollers would
be much appreciated.
