I think what I was probably thinking of was that numeric indices would
generally be more useful than string indices, but you weren't disputing
that in any case.

As regards the other messages just posted, the table method allows you to
interpolate expressions just as easily as variables:-

	"Age one year ago: [1]" % {currentAge - 1}
