Which I find inscrutible, focusing way, way, way too much space to the fact that benchmarks are invalid and of no use. Ok, fine. Thanks. We get it. They're useless. You need to take too many things into consideration. Now, just show me the benchmarks, dammit.

Oh, and it doesn't include Win32 in its benchmarks. And it doesn't show which languages are interpreted and which are native at a glance. And, here's the kicker, it still doesn't show tcc performance!

Sorry, that website really raises my hackles :-)

So, I wouldn't call the other shootout out of date just yet. It may not be in active development. But it does show results for Lua 5.0!
