I'm not sure if it has been mentioned before... but the lua-l has 'been 
there done that'. That is discussed the setup of a webbased forum:

The outcome was a voluteered Lua forum under
http://www.icynorth.com/forums/

Which seems to be gone now, as no one seemed to use it anyway.
