There's a conversion program that does this (and just this) at
	ftp://ftp.tecgraf.puc-rio.br/pub/lhf/wstr.c

This is a simple filter. A script will be need to use this program to convert
the Lua sources. I can write one, if there's interest, but I gather from the
recent postings that there's much more to this than this simple conversion.
