I'm an embedded software engineer, primarily working in networking, digital audio, and (you guessed it) networking digital audio. I first used Lua in an embedded Ethernet switching platform  where it was well-received. There, Lua allowed end users to bind Lua scripts to various system events.
Currently, I am using Lua as a configuration language in a .NET application. I'm using LuaInterface, which is a .NET wrapper around Lua 5.
