The msvc toolchain should be used by default. Can you run

xmake f -c -vD
xmake -vD

and let me see the full logs?

or you can open a clean cmd and run it.

Tried it, failed to build:
  xmake build -v

  [ 25%]: cache compiling.release src\core\lcurses\lcurses.c
  F:\MinGW32\bin\x86_64-w64-mingw32-gcc -c -m64 -fvisibility=hidden -Wall
  -Werror -std=c89 -D_GNU_SOURCE=1 -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -D_LARGEFILE
  _SOURCE -std=c99 -o build\.objs\ltui\mingw\x86_64\release\src\core\lcurses\lcurses.c.obj
  src\core\lcurses\lcurses.c
error: x86_64-w64-mingw32-gcc: error: CreateProcess: No such file or directory

How is MSVC toolchain supposed to be added in xmake?
