Small announcement, as I believe some people here might find it
Pandoc, the universal document converter, now supports "custom Lua
readers"; what that means is that users can write their own format
parser with the help of lpeg, re, and pandoc's Lua interface.
See here for more info: https://pandoc.org/custom-readers.html
Custom Lua writers and document filters have existed for a while
already, but this change means that every aspect of the document
conversion process can now be scripted in Lua.
