Lua is still young, and may leed to Lub
Lua is Lua. I cannot imagine “Lub” is an option. ;)
Instead it can converge to the “final” version in the same way TeX did. TeX did converge to pi 3.141591...
Lua is now 5.3.5 and soon 5.4
Next major will be 6
I can imagine it can converge to 6.28... (two pi, full circle, like the full moon),
At each new release a digit would be added, converging to a perfect circle
That would be nice !
(Also because the language will stop changing with incompatibilities)
