The fact that this discussion is utterly useless from the point of
view of seeing anything officially changed in behaviour of file:lines
does not stop occasional contributions (such as the one by Tim Hill
pointing out what hackers might do and the one by Andrew
Starks with the mushy prose) from being well thought out and
highly entertaining.
On the other hand, posts that merely expostulate in more and more
petulant terms what their posters have already said often before,
while qualifying as free speech, do not strike one as having either
of the above-mentioned positive attributes.
