If you are using Eclipse then there is the Lua Eclipse module.  My company
(Crank Software) is bundling it with our Eclipse based product and are
slowly extending its functionality and pushing back patches, although
there is a new version in the wings that uses a more mature AST based
parse to provide functionality.
