Alpha. Appendix B of the Alpha Architecture Handbook describes it 
as a "subset". IIRC, it drops full conformance in favour of 
performance. Something about not stopping for errors... unsure how 
it may affect Lua numbers, though, but all the details can be 
found in the aforementioned appendix B.
