Having just tried myself, snap.  Identical hardware, but a different
compiler and distribution:

# gcc -v
Using built-in specs.
Target: arm-linux-gnueabi
Configured with: ../../configure --prefix=/.pkg/gcc4.3
--enable-languages=c,c++ --disable-nls --disable-multilib
--disable-sjlj-exceptions --build=arm-linux-gnueabi

gcc version 4.3.2 (GCC)

Additionally:
