Correct. The mistake here is that "the language" is the whole thing.
A cookbook show how to use the language, or how people who use it use
the language.
Use cases. Methodologies. Best practices. Reasoning. Problem
solving with the tool.
These are the things one gets from a cookbook. The Git book is an
excellent example.
