If I'd known this few weeks ago, I might have settled on it instead,
though in that it's template-based I'd still be worried about code
bloat, since all the template-based solutions I measured ended up being
relatively large compared to the tolua++ output. I also had trouble

than just functions), though that again could have been documentation

That does sound great, though at this point I've already spent too much
time trying various options; I may revisit after my current project is
done (February or so).
