What are the drawbacks of old behavior from the practical point of view? IMO, the more tail call is different from normal call, the more confusion it makes.Both options have its drawbacks. The new behavior is closer to what is actually happening in the interpreter.
I'd like negative values for absolute stack levels. It's like functions stack is viewed from the opposite end.Or is there going to be something like absolute stack levels, instead of current relative stack levels?That would be good if we had used negative values for relative stack levels, as in the C API.
