gnuplot: any recent updates

I'm looking around for Lua-gnuplot interfaces.  There's a minimal one
on Lua Forge (http://luaforge.net/projects/gnuplot/) and there was a
link to one on capgo.com whose link is dead.  That one sounded
interesting.  Anyone have a link for it?  Are there any other ones I'm
not listing here?  I'd prefer a high-level interface over a direct
gnuplot mapping.
