It's not exactly news, but the LNUM patch seems to be having serious
problems on Linux x86 environments, when optimizations are enabled.
I'll be looking at this, and also the behaviour when SSE maths is
enabled (some things seem strange, s.a. NANs being equal).
Other platforms are not affected. Windows, embedded Linuxes seem fine.
