The difference is that a component that exposes Lua as a scripting
engine allows Lua to be used in applications which support "JScript,
VBScript, or other ActiveX scripting languages". There are a small,
but non-zero set of such applications.

It's no big deal, one way or another. Although it would be nice to be
able to use Lua in web pages...
