my pet project i'd like to advance would be Helper Threads Toolkit,
or, more exactly, the libraries built with the toolkit. currently,
i've hacked TCP and file I/O, but never found time for SQL (althought
i've written a small bit of a SQLite module)
i'd be happy to help a student help on that!
