Ident?

Hello,

Anyone still using ident [1] those days?

I'm contemplating adding an ident client to, hmmm, Nanoki [2]...

Something similar to mod_ident [3].

There could be at least two potential benefits:

1. If an ident server is present, one get a hint about the user.
2. If there is not ident server, checking for one would add a bit of  
latency, slowing down bots a bit without impacting regular users too  
much.

Thoughts?
