Not to belabour the point, but fixing the problem is probably
the least of your worries until you find out what the root cause
of the problem is.

Interactions with other software can be VERY hard to track down, so
using clean installs on spare machines, or VMWare virtual machines, is
probably a great way to eliminate a bunch of possible causes...
