In October, Roberto said (tongue in cheek) that he hoped it would be a
very long time before Lua entered the Tiobe top 20:-

PS - I think Lua is a strong candidate for Tiobe's language of the year
award (it was Ruby last year). Has Lua *really* gained that many web
resources in just 8 months or were Tiobe just not calculating it properly?
