Hi,

Trango Interactive announces the highly anticipated release of VSLua v2.0 with many exciting new features. Please visit the official product website:

http://www.itrango.com/vslua/index.html

A fully functional 30-day trial version is available at:

http://www.itrango.com/vslua/downloads.html

An extended trial version can be provided on demand. Please review the official documentation for more details.

Please make sure that the build number in the file name and that mentioned on the download page match. If they don’t then a cleanup of your browser history and a quick page refresh will get things fixed.

Some main features are hi-lighted as follows:

·

Added official support for third party libraries (LuaPlus, tolua, lua_bind) with VSLua debugger. Read the documentation for more details.

·

A locals/auto watch window is provided that shows local variables in a window similar to the existing watch window.

·

Buffer debugging support has now been added (luaL_loadbuffer(...)) with new options in the Tools -> Options menu as well. A new sample has been provided in the /Samples/LoadBuffer directory.

·

New convenience macros have now been provided which wrap VSLua initialization calls. A new pre-processor USE_VSLUA has also been provided to quickly enable/disable VSLua from within the code. Macro fallbacks to default behavior are based on this pre-processor (i.e. USE_VSLUA). See the vslua_debugger.h header file (provided with distribution) for more details.

·

Support for forward slashes "/" in addition to backslashes "\" in paths and file names has been added.

Please review the documentation for a comprehensive list of updates and bug fixes. People already using VSLua are recommended to read the “Change Log” (first topic in help).

Existing customers DO NOT need to purchase a new license or upgrade. Their existing 1.x VSLua license will work out of the box. However, they will have to re-enter licensing information.
