Yes, the remote debugger is planned to the next version (1.1) at the M2 
or M3 release .
We have a draft of a roadmap that expects 3 milestones to 1.1, but I 
don´t have the date to these releases yet. As soon as possible the 
roadmap will be at the luaeclipse site.
