I have been following Ruby-talk mailing list/Usenet group for several
years. They have few very useful things there. First of all, each
message gets a unique sequential number like ruby-talk:12345 that can
be used as a unique ID of this message in their archive for quoting
and reference purposes. Secondly, they have a gateway that cross-links
ruby-talk mailing list and comp.lang.ruby usenet group. Except for few
isolated instances of usenet spam it works quite well and increases
Ruby visibility in the Internet. It would be great to have something
similar for Lua.
