I feel the same way: the Lua Workshop was a lot of fun! The talks were diverse and very enjoyable. It was also really nice to meet with people and hear how they were taking advantage of Lua in their projects.

Truth be told, never in my wildest dreams had I imagined I'd be able to drive 45 minutes and see the team (minus Waldemar -- where are you?) and so many lua-l folks together in one room. As far as surreal experiences go, this was a very pleasant one.

So, a big Thank You to Wim & all the good folks at Océ R&D! [especially for the nice food! ;-)]

On a personal note, I would also like to thank everyone who came up to me with nice comments regarding my "Developing desktop solutions with Lua" presentation: I was afraid that my somewhat meagre delivery [due to a severe lack of sleep] had killed it...

But all your positive remarks have me thinking I still managed to get a point or two across, which was a bit of a relief. I find all the feedback very stimulating and will start thinking more actively about evolving Reflexis Lite as a serious Lua-driven platform.

Anyways, onwards to the next Lua Workshop!

Ashwin.
