I've thought a bit about this idea.  I too think i would be a insanely great 
way to write web apps.  As Andre points, the main hurdle is in getting the 
session persistence done right so it's totally transparent to the web 
developer.

i haven't write any code for this, but it's one of the (future) things i had 
in mind when developing Xavante.
