- Subject: community project?

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone would be interested to pool resources to
build a "community project" to illustrate the use of Lua as a full
fledge application development language?
The project could be about anything, but should try to be of general
and immediate usefulness.
At first glance, projects along the lines of instiki (wiki),
textpattern (content management) or track (source control) would be
worthwhile candidates:
http://instiki.org/
http://textpattern.com/
http://www.edgewall.com/trac/
Or perhaps a little bit of all the above and turn the existing
"LuaForge" into an out-of-the-box application to handle most software
development issues.
Such a project could be used as a sort of "poster child" for the Lua
programming language.
Thoughts?
Cheers
