Mac Lua Environment & Digital Fusion Lua Script

Hi,  New to the list.  I have 2 questions.

1) is there a lua environment already compiled for mac osx?  i cant 
seem to find one.  I want to be able to test and debug some of my 
scripts while i am learning lua on my laptop! which is running osx.

2) anyone else her using lua in digital fusion?
